As the title says really

I have a mole on my stomach that is changing. It used to be oval and brown all

Sorry posted too soon,
Used to be oval and a solid brown colour, now it has a jagged edge and is black in the centre, the blackness is taking over the brown

I’ve made a doctors appointment for next week but I’m so worried about this now, I have left it for a few months to keep an eye on it and it’s definitely changing

It’s good you’ve got the appointment Smile

Won’t tell you not to worry because it’s natural but a change in moles doesn’t have to be anything sinister. I’ve had two moles change recently. One on my back that’s got bigger and one on my face that’s changed beyond all recognition and they’ve removed for me. In my case it was pregnancy that caused them to grow.

At my last appointment they gave me a checklist to keep in case any more changed. If you google NHS abcde mole checklist it’ll come up.

All the best for the appointment!

Yeah had a look at that site
It was because of it that I’ve made the appointment, it’s not asymmetric anymore.

Can I ask how yours were removed?

It’s really good you’ve made the appointment. I put mine off for quite a while!

The one on my face was ‘shaved’ off under local. Dermatology referred me to Plastic Surgery for it to be done as it was in a tricky place. You’d never even know anything had been done they’ve done such a great job!
