9 days in with flu... when will I get better?

Feeling unbelievably sorry for myself. Heads banging, fever, sweats, army green thick stuff that I am struggling to get up.

Anyone else this ill?

Self employed, I need to work soon otherwise Santa won’t be flippin coming.

Had 5 days of au and night nurse. No help. On 4th day of Beecham flu plus.

Any other remedies.

Steam yourself. Phone the docs. I'm the same, got antibiotics today. Hope it passes for you soon

Ooh I had this recently! I'm still getting over it tbh
I would say I felt bloody awful for 12 days. Could potter more and do jobs around the house, active childcare for another 5 days. I then really struggled with my normal routine for a few more days before starting to feel a bit more normal. So I would say I'm now 4 weeks after it started and still struggling with post viral fatigue in the afternoons and evenings (thank heavens for cbeebies), but otherwise I'm good to go just these last couple of days.

Strangely no-one else in the house got it

Flu is major and takes weeks remember it can kill the vulnerable.
