Weird spot on ds1's upper chest :o(

he's 4, he's never had any of the "childhood diseases" or anything. It's a raised smooth spot, the size of a lentil, orangey yellow in colour, sort of shiny. There aren't any others, I've checked him all over. He doesn't feel ill.

Anyone know what it is? Should I take him to the doctor?

chicken pox? is it like yellowy blistering?

It does sound like molluscum. GP won't be able to do anything medical about it, but I would get it diagnosed anyway.
It's an annoying and sometimes lengthy condition to deal with, but not painful, serious or with lasting side-effects.
