DS got his first spot 2 weeks ago today and apart from dd2 being a bit grizzly, dd1 & 2 are showing no signs of getting it. How long does it generally take to come out?

Also, if DD1 is possibly harbouring it, should she go back to school tomorrow or is she ok until blisters turn up?

It can take up to 3 weeks for it to appear I think

Helloooo!

Hmmm was starting to think we'd got away with it for the other two!

Hiya
My dd caught the pox just over two weeks after the first spots came on my ds.

Thankfully, dd has hardly any spots now!

usual maximum period of up to 21 days after exposure. Ds has managed to avoid it in school, but someone in his group came down with it last day of term so we have another week to wait to see.
