Eurax , can it be used more than once on a child in a day ?

and alongside piriton ? dd1 is going mental with itchyness , last application was this morning and shes been quite good all day. I want to make her comfortable for bed.

just cant find any info online , no leaflet in box.

yes, we used it on dd every 4 hours. I'm sure that's what it said on the tube. Is it for chickenpox? dd had it 6 weeks ago

and yes, alongside piriton. I did find the latter made dd dozy so I tended to use it before bed and in the night.

Yes for pox , its brill stuff alongside the piriton. Waiting for some neem oil too arrive too.

thankyou imaginary, its day 5 tommorow , shes got 160+ spots or more now . Hope the raised temp stops too.

Poor little thing. How old is she? My dd's 4.5 and was very poorly with it, a scary fever to begin with, then spots in the most dreadful places although not totally covered all over like I've seen some of her friends. Her spots seemed to choose very painful areas.

Day 5 ... I think you should start to see an end to the worst tomorrow and the next day. Best of luck to you

shes 3.8yrs , it peaked last night as she was up every hour till 2ish. She just could not rest , even with piriton and eurax , she was in pain with the spots and her tummy writhing around her bed , poor little girl . She looks rough as loads of spots on hr face too, wonder if I shouldnt have been putting the eurax on her face. Bio oil should arrive tommorow , so startimg that regime pronto!

She was still in a bad way this morning , so daddy gave her an oatmeal & bicarb bath and another eurax cover and she seems sooo much better today and much less scratching , I think some of them have even scabbed over on her face, theyve gone sorta yellowy ???.

Shes much happier & Im really drained now !!!

I remember those horrible nights. My dd screamed in such pain it was awful to hear and impossible to settle her. The ones on her genitals were her worst, there were about 35 there which we counted, literally she was covered. I found she was only out of pain when sitting in a bowl of water and bicarb of soda watching a DVD. We ended up doing that half way through the night so many times. It was exhausting.

I hope today's been better for her ...
