Burnt my thump

Yesterday while cooking a piece of breadcrumbs fried in oil somehow landed on my thump. I felt the pain and removed the crumb. I put it under the cold water for five minutes. The skin was white and started to fill with liquid. There wasn’t any pain. Now I have this blister and I don’t know hat to do. Should I pop it?

I think the advice is not to pop as it can get infected more easily. However, in that position it is going to be hard to protect. It should be dressed properly - can you get to a practice nurse or minor injuries place?

Don't pop blisters, they are there to protect the damaged skin underneath. It will pop on its own when it's ready.
