Ds has an itchy scrotum

What could it be? He's only two and has been crying all morning and trying to scatch his scrotum but hindered by a nappy. I have given him a bath with bicarb but he's still moaning. Any ideas?

is there a rash or irritation there.

i take it you've put sudocrem on? i'd go to the doctors if he's in distress.

he's had 2 baths this morning, the first because his poo was all over the place when I got him up. I put sudocrem on him after that. After the second bath he wouldn't let me put anything on him. Poor little bugger, there's always something wrong with him.

Probably best to let the doctor have a peek then. especially as it's friday, so if you don't go today he might be uncomfortable all weekend

do boys get thrush, or is that a stupid question?

i know men can get thrush - but i think the drs is the way to go.
