Jaw and tooth pain

Anyone know what causes jaw and tooth pain? For the last 4 days I've had pain in my lower and upper jaw and teeth. Sometimes it's worse than others. It's more irritating than very painful. It's a pressure kind of feeling. At first I thought it was because I'd had a stressful day and been clenching my teeth, but it hasn't gone away Sad

Could it be your sinuses?Have you had a cold recently?

Missingthesea · 22/10/2017 16:46

You may be clenching your teeth in your sleep. I do that when i'm stressed.

stress, sinuses, trapped nerve?

NotAgainYoda · 22/10/2017 16:50

You could be clenching and/or grinding your teeth in your sleep

I'd see a dentist

I do have sinus problems- I'm on a referral for nasal polyps... Interesting... I might have to go back to gp about this though. I can't keep taking painkillers while I wait indefinitely for a referral Sad

Dentist will be able to tell if youre teeth clenching at night without realising.

Try Neilmed sinus rinse whilst you're waiting for referral, it may take a few days to work. It's very easy to use.
