Blister on gum? Picture attached

I was just brushing my teeth and noticed what looks like a blister or possibly pus filled lump high up on my gum line.

I've never had anything like this before.

I've got an appt with the hygienist this week, but should I try and see a dentist sooner?

It doesn't hurt when I touch it.

What could it be? Periodontal abscess?

No, it's probably just a mouth ulcer. I wouldn't worry just yet! Perfectly normal. Gargle with warm salt water and it'll more than likely be gone within the week

Thanks - I have been really stressed out over the last few weeks so perhaps that's triggered it.
