I had an operation on Friday. Today I feel like I am getting a chest infection. I am struggling to cough because of stitches and I have pain between my shoulder blades. Is this anything to worry about?

If i was you i would ring 111, and see what they advise

Were you given a number for the ward/surgical unit etc when you were discharged? I’d call them rather than 111 if you can, as they can advise based on your specific op.
