Poor form?

Hi all
My son has woken up this morning with a stye in his eye. We're doing the hot cloth thing and the swelling does seem to be coming down. My conundrum is whether I should still take him to the play date and/or party that was planned for today. He seems fine in himself and it's definitely not conjunctivitis but would it be seen as poor form to take him anywhere near other kids? He's 7 so not a toddler.

I think if he is ok in himself later on and wants to go that's reasonable. Be prepared to explain when you get there. But equally if he decides he doesn't want to go it would be reasonable to call it off for this reason.
