Was wondering if anyone has any experience with polycystic ovaries? My dr thinks I have them and is sending me for tests but I’m not convinced.
Basically I went to see her because since my son was born last July my periods have been longer 8-10 days and a bit irregular. Ive also had the odd episode of spotting. She noticed I had a few spots which I never used to get. I’m also always tired but I have two kids under 3. Surely that’s normal.
My main issue with the PCOS is I have no fertility issues. With my eldest I got pregnant within 3 months and my youngest it only took a month off the pill. She thinks that being on the pill for the last ten years was masking my symptoms and because I didn’t go back on it after my son was born it’s come to light.
I’m glad she’s sending me for scans because to be honest I’d be relieved if it is polycystic ovaries as I’m scared its something like cancer
