Toe nail fungus - nice

I went to the chemist to buy the stuff you paint on your infected nail and she said this stuff is expensive have you got a prescription? Said no, never mind, I'll just buy it and she said I would at need at least 4 at £20 each. Crikey! Anyone treated their's a different way?

I tried a load of old wives tales and remedies.
Vicks
Vinegar soaks
bleach & water solution (on a cotton bud held on nail with tin foil)
salt soaks
mouthwash

in the end my nail grew out and fungus was gone so I don't know which one helped but one of them did.

Cheers Curly, those all seem like appropriate options for Halloween toes!

I got my husband the one you paint on then file then paint. He only needed one packet.

Yeah Buster, I did wonder if her 'four packet' advice came after a far gnarlier example than mine.

And thanks LittleLights, I'm going to give that one a go.

There's no way you need 4. Is it only one nail? I used the Scholl one and it did the job. Still had quite a bit left over after months of treatment too!
