Any sonographers about?

I had a scan today and asked at the end whether all seemed ok. Guy told me that he'd need to take a second look but that he would put it in his report which doctor will receive within 7 to 10 working days.

Whenever I've had a scan before, they normally say, yes, everything looks normal blah blah.

As a sonographer, do you routinely tell people what you've seen? Or hint at it all being ok? Presumably you know what you're looking for?

I have had several scans, and it seems to depend on who is doing the scanning, i have been told sometimes all looks ok, and others .cant tell you your Dr or Consultant .whoever has to give you the results
I had one about 3 weeks ago, i was told they couldnt tell me, would have to see my consultant,
All was fine,so dont worry too much

I does depend on the sonographer in my experience. I’ve had them chat all the way through the scan giving a running commentary, others have been silent and just said the report will be with my gp in five days, goodbye!

Try not to worry Flowers

Thanks guys. I'll find out in due course. God didn't grant me patience when he broke the mold lol.
