Constantly bleeding black blood for 2 months

Hi
I'm still currently waiting to fully register with my doctor but I'm just wondering if anyone could spare any advice.
I'm 20 and do have an active sex life but this problem is starting to effect everything!
I have been bleeding for the past 2+ months now but it's thick, black, stringy blood. My periods have been out of the ordinary since getting the implant, so I'm wondering if it's best I go back on the pill.
I'm not cramping or anything like that but this is constant now, it's taking over my life.
Thanks :)

Hi how are you? I was just coming on here to say I had the exact same thing from Aug to Feb after having the implant. Literally had 1 day when I didn't bleed black blood. Ended up going to clinic to get it removed as GP didn't want to remove it. I was fine once it had been removed.

busytimesahead · 30/09/2017 20:45

Hope all ok...thinking of you

Hi everyone! I'm doing a little better thank you, painkillers aren't working and I was discharged this morning after being kept overnight and monitored. Got a scan tomorrow, so far it's something to do with my ovaries but will find out more tomorrow. Getting the implant removed too! Thank you all for you sweet comments it's made my day 😊 xxx

user1484050576 · 02/10/2017 20:25

Hi! They don't have a clue whats going on and this hospital is a shambles to be honest - lost results, slept on the floor ect... But getting discharged soon. Thanks as always x

On the floor?! Get yourself to another hospital. Hope you're feeling better soon

Footle · 02/10/2017 21:10

What? Are you sure it’s a hospital?

IfYouGoDownToTheWoodsToday · 02/10/2017 21:16

Gosh that sounds dreadful.

Did you get any answers at all?
