I have never had problems with my skin till about 4 yrs ago.

I've got a couple of bumps/spots on one side of my nose/cheek, along with a inflamed red colour skin (the red colour is also on the other side of nose/ cheek and chin) and it's itchy. My inflamed skin feels dry.

My docs said it was stress that I am under.

I tried two different gel from docs, both didn't work.

I've.changed my facial cream to simple to see if it.improved but nothing.

Or it is back to docs. when I'm more stressed, the redness goes darker.

Thanks

I had this last year, like you, under a huge amount of (work) stress, having never had problems with my skin before. I used been soap to wash my face and a French brand called Bioderma, soothing repair cream which worked a treat to clear it up. Good luck.

Been soap should read neem soap, bloody autocorrect..

Thank you happy as ill try anything.

Had your skin cleared up or you still gotta apply it on everyday? as I noticed when I'm hot, it all flares up. And I only use water to wash my face...to wake me up!! Lol

IT sounds like rosacea

My skin has cleared up, but I've held onto bioderma just in case it comes back. I never used soap to wash my face before (cleanse, tone, moisturise kinda gal) so felt a bit funny using that, but I'm back to my normal skincare routine. I also massively reduced the source of my stress which must have helped also. When you've always had good skin it is a shock to be so very aware of it, you have my sympathy.

Is it perioral dermatitis, around your mouth and chin too? I use Metronidazole gel (antibiotic) - it does work, but takes a little time. And switched all my skin care for Dr hauschka sensitive range - mine flares up when I'm stressed, but also when my skin is irritated.
