Hi all
Just been for a pelvic ultrasound and they said I have a polyp and the Dr will want to have a closer look with a hysteroscopy??
I am 29, arent i too young for this??
I am currently ttc and devastated in case this affects fertility or is something sinister..
Please can anyone calm me down?

I’ve had a couple of these, one before I was pregnant and one after. The first one was removed under general anistetic and the other one was local. I honestly don’t think it affected my fertility..... some of them are small enough that they don’t need removing. I’d really try not to worry until you’ve been seen ..... easier said than done though, I know!

So a little back story.. Was seen in May 2015 with irregular bleeding and diagnosed cervical erosion. Same time Dr did a uterine biopsy which was benign. Got pregnant that month after ttc for 11 cycles.

We've been ttc again and I have heavy periods so went for further tests. Is there a possibility I could still conceive with a polyp?? Do women in their 20s get polyps and not have issues? I am concerned with mainly fertility, then if it's something sinister, and I thought they were associated with older women?
