lust 5 min ago took 5mg diazepam what and when will happen and how long

please help when will i know its working and what will i fell?

what is it for? pain or to help you sleep?

diazepam, will help you to relax remember you need to make sure you get 7 hours undisturbed sleep tonight and every night you take it

its prob me getting all worked up i feel panicie but at the same time tired like i wanna go a sleep i was tired anyway so it could just be me a? im very scared as i have never had these befor

well i took it as im flying next wekk and im feeling very scared tonight so i thought i would try one out.what is ment to happen to me as im very worried????

I have taken it before having dental treatment before now (my fear of the dentist makes me hard work without it).

The first couple of times I felt a bit woozy after about 10 minutes - head a bit swimmy, eyes a bit squiffy. But only for a short while - after 20 or 30 minutes I just felt relaxed but otherwise normal.

After the first couple of times I didn't feel any wooziness at all.

At the risk of sounding like an ageing hippy......just go with the flow....Joe.

in about 15 minutes all your muscles will feel very relaxed and you may want to go to sleep.

Go to bed now with a warm drink. You will probably drift off nicelyt.

Don't be worried, it's a pretty low dose and nothing awful is going to happen!

Don't be frightened of it, it's evry very safe for occasional use, compared to other things to make you relax!

BTW 5mg is nowt. You are not a druggie.

you have to wait for it to get out of your system! why you panicking so much about the drug> it is a small dose, not harmful, go to bed and get a good nights sleep...
if it is going to freak you this much, don;t take it before you fly !

It is only what used to be called valium and that is a low dose.

When I have taken it, I get nice and relaxed. I am claustrophobic so take it when flying. It makes me think "oh look, I am trapped in a horrid tin can... Never mind, I don't care" and then I have a nice kip. Normally I would be climbing the walls. It is excellent stuff.

There is nothing at all to be scared of. Just go and tuck yourself up in bed.

By strange do you mean a bit fuzzy around the edges, maybe a bit woozy? If so, that is fine and how you are meant to be.
Right now you are at home, so if you feel wierd it will be v noticable. When you take it on the plane you will be stuck in a seat and should just go with it as you will have nothing else to do.
Now switch off the computer and go to bed!

Have a lie down, close your eyes and relax. The diazepam is good for anxiety, if you just lie down and let it work, you'll feel fine soon. The wooziness doesn't last long, and before you know it you'll just feel relaxed and sleepy.

5mg is no huge deal, it's a very low dose and it can't harm you - you have nothing at all to panic about.

awww thankyou all so much i have done a few posts on hear but after today i rate this site a lot higher then i did as i have never fount it as usefull as today so thankyou all so much,i feel woozy yes like all floppy and kinda giggle weriod i know lol.

i fell so so relaxed all sleppy but at the same time my daughter had just woke up cryin so im like fellin as if im going mad at the min lol but i know its def worked as i keep laughting a t nothing is that normal? what else should i expect? i think im gonna be fine on the plane with this also how long till it wears off as my flight is 9 hours and i wanna feel ok after the plane flight

My mum takes it when she goes to teh dentist. She takes two cos shes so scared of dental work. She gets a bit fidgety and woozy. It doesnt seem to last long.
