is this intestinal obstruction?

Yesterday and all night I had a sharp; strong pain in my very low left abdomen, almost next to my hip which was so strong that I could not think about anything else and painkillers barely touched it.

Today I have more of a dull pain across my whole lower abdomen and I feel nauseous. I have absolute no appetite. I tried to eat a digestive biscuit an hour ago (so far eaten nothing today) and felt I was going to vomit. I don't have a stomach virus or anything like that.

If it was intestinal obstruction would thof pain still be as sharp bottom left as it was yesterday?

I feel like this sometimes.... I had a colonoscopy about a year ago. They found that I have severe diverticulosis. I feel this sort of pain when I need to do a bowel movement.

It could be anything, including a tummy bug.

Are you passing wind?

Pelvic muscles? Too tight? I get this sometimes and do stretches that help - the pain just radiates all the way down to my inner thighs otherwise

Do you have medical history that would make an obstruction likely? There could be any number of causes, but obstructions aren’t that common especially without any pre-existing conditions etc.

Intestinal obstruction is an unusual thing to assume as a first thought.
What makes you think that it might be an obstruction?

Op, you need to get this checked out. IO is a medical emergency.
Have you passed any wind, has your Tummy rumbled or gurgled at all? Wind and bowl sound are good signs, so of not, please get this checked out asap.
