Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me. I had my top wisdom teeth taken out a few years ago and they heeled perfectly with no problems. But lately I've been get discomfort in the back right gum and feeling with my gum, I think I can feel a hole there that has developed. I've tried googling, which is never good I know, but it said it could possibly be trench mouth..I was just wondering if anyone knows or has or had the same problem. And whether I should call the dentist to make an appointment. Any responses would be greatly appreciated x

Hi, I don't know anything about the condition you describe but can tell you listen to your instinct. If you think something is wrong it most probably is, and one thing I've learnt over the years is not to wait where teeth are concerned, especially when in discomfort. Best to get it checked out to put your mind at rest. Also it's best not to research it online as it'll make you worry when it's probably only something minor!

Agree with surf, don't research online it will bring up worst like you needing your leg chopped off.

If it is worrying you and causing discomfort, best to go and get it checked out and hopefully put your mind at ease. Going to the dentist is never nice but in my experience putting off going only makes things worse in the long run
