Any advice for suspected laryngitis? I've never had it before but seems to fit with the symptoms. A friend is telling me that I should see a doctor but NHS site suggests it should clear up on its own and I don't want to bother my doctor if I can help it.
I've felt a bit under the weather for a couple of days but the main symptom has been a horrid sore throat. Today I have nearly completely lost my voice and can only just about whisper. It feels very different to any other sore throat I have had, it's hard to explain, almost like something is squeezing my larynx and is stopping me from talking
