Hi guys, I'm new on here and just really need some advise. I'm 28 and have one daughter aged 8 I'm planning on having another baby as iv finally met my dream man after a rubbish few years. I had a colcoscopy about a month ago and it showed I had CIN3 and I'm booked in to go under local anaesthetic next Saturday but I'm worried as they said I can't have the treatment if I fall pregnant. We have been used protection since then but I'm worried that if I'm already pregnant they won't go ahead with the treatment. If I am pregnant it would be the very early stages, I'm talking as early as 2 weeks. Would having the treatment cause me to miscarry?

Really need some advise 😊 hope you can help

It's possible I think. I had cin3 many years ago, and they were very insistent that I must definitely not have any chance of pregnancy before they did the procedure. I think if you say to them that the possibility of pg is doubtful but not definite, they might defer the procedure until you give them a "definite". Can you phone ahead of the procedure and ask their advice?

I got around it by having no piv sex between last period and the procedure (about 2 weeks). The nurse was 😮 but very pleased 😂
