Allergy to steristrips/glue?

DD had to have steristrips and glue on her chin on Monday morning.

The same day we noticed a faint rash on her hand and cheek. I assumed it was viral as she has a cough/cold as well. But it got worse and is still quite prominent and itchy, on the backs of both hands and wrists, one cheek and one side of her abdomen.

Chlorpheniramine seems to relieve the itching. Could it be the steristrips and/or the glue? Anyone have any experience of this?

TIA

When I have a reaction it is around the area the plaster has been on.If it was just hands I would have said she had been rubbing it but abdomen?

Same here - my reaction just surrounds the sticky area.

I also react, but only on the area the steristrips are.
