In the last couple of weeks I have posted a couple of times on this board about my abnormal smear and going for the colposcopy. Everyone's comments have been really reassuring throughout :-).
I got the biopsy results back from the colposcopy yesterday and it came back as CIN2 so the doctor would like to go ahead with the Lletz treatment, just waiting for the date now. Bizarrely my smear tests came back as normal (I was referred for colposcopy before they came back) which is a bit confusing, but I'm feeling a bit calmer about it now I have the biopsys back, I was so worried they were going to find worse. I just want it all sorted now.
I just wondered who had experience of the Lletz treatment as is it painful? The doctor said it will be very similar to my biopsys and its over quite quickly. Was just wondering about the recovering time after... am I likely to feel ropey for a few days? What do I need to avoid etc?
