dd will be 14 next month and has had periods for 2 years. No major problems until recently- the last few months she throws up the day she starts, or a few days beforehand- early in the morning usually, and just water. She's then absolutely fine. It's very odd. The doc says it's just the hormonal turbulence prior to the bleeding actually starting, but obviously she's (dd) getting nervous every month before she starts.
Has anyone (or their dds) had similar, and is there anything to prevent/quell the nausea? She says it comes on suddenly, she doesn't even feel sick, just gets this unexpected churning.
