DD has a good varied diet but she is often tired so I'm considering getting vitamins for her. In your experience what is the best and why?

I considered getting vitamins too for DS when he went through a period of being tired and ill a lot (same age btw) but I was advised at a holland and barrett that giving supplements to kids that age meant they wouldn't be able to build up their immune system properly. And that best thing is balanced diet. Don't know if it helped but I started making him juices and milkshakes with lots of fruit and veg in them, to make sure he had plenty of fresh stuff. Anyway, he came out of that tiredness and sicky period after a while and is absolutely fine now - VERY energetic

probably better going to a health shop and talking to them. They are usually really informative and know their stuff. Whatever you choose make sure it doesn't contain aspartame or other nasty sweetners, as it seems quite hard to find them without.
