Blue means no blood supply, surely. A&E IMO.

NannyL · 04/04/2007 19:08

ui wouldnt necesaarily go to A&E

after i was runover and broke my leg my foot was blue almost constantly for nearly a year!

foxinsocks · 04/04/2007 19:09

call them and ask - they've probably given you the number of the ward?

ViscountessLittleEasterLapin · 04/04/2007 19:10

DH had a that operation - he was told it might go black, but not blue.

foxinsocks · 04/04/2007 19:11

call them

EasterSparklerEgg · 04/04/2007 19:12

ALWAYS phone NHS direct if you are concerned. That's what they are there for. You can't be too careful IMO. Even if it's nothing at least you have a proper medical opinion.

Did not mean to be flippant. I hope he's OK.

Phone and ask them. It could just be the brusing that you would expect in the scrotum, it could be something more serious.
