My OH has an ultrasound next week for a pain he's been getting in one of his testicles. He has a small grain of rice lump on it (I haven't seen this, it's what he tells me) and sometimes it feels really sore. He's never had an ultrasound before and Google isn't being very helpful into what he should expect when he goes. I'm also extremely anxious that something is going to be wrong (I've always been a fretter and even more so now we are expecting our first baby) so I'm looking for positive stories of people who have had this before and it's been fine.
What should he expect from the ultrasound?
Has anyone ever been scanned for a small lump on testicle before that was fine?
