How long does an adult tooth take to come through??

DD1 knocked one of her front tooth out when she was 2, she lost her 2nd front tooth in october. I know the one she knocked out might not appear till it ready but surely she should have the one that come out in october by now. There is not even a bump there... am panicking in case she has no adult teeth in her top gum...

These teeth come in at around 7. So I would think she is due to get them soon.

We always think that when a tooth is lost naturally, that the permanent tooth should appear immediately or soon after, but this isn't always the case.

If she doesn't show any signs of them coing around 7.6 then next time she is at the dentist you could ask them to take an xray to check the teeth are present. But I know from experience that dentists won't be too concerned just yet.
