Unable to use tampons

I'm 45 and have been using tampons for the last 30+ years.

In the last year, I've found that I just can't stand them. They never seem secure and I struggle to insert them properly.

It's doing my head in - I have ridiculously heavy periods and despite other symptoms like sweats they show no sign of letting up.

I'm not sure a cup would help as I'd struggle to insert that, too!

I stopped using them as I'd have heavy episode they just couldn't cope with. Just use pads?

I can't use tampons but can use a mooncup. Its worth a try!

Have you tried applicator tampons? I had to switch after having a prolapse and was so relieved to find a tampon I could use.
