I'm just so fed up and sick of everything that's going on. I had an early mc almost 4 weeks ago, bled for about a week then all stopped and seemed to get back to normal. LAst week I had sharp pains in my stomach on and off but not enought to worry me. Over the weekend the pains got worse (general ache and sharp pains in RHS)- not constant but coming and going. Saw out of hours GP twice on Sunday and was given 3 different antibiotics to take as they assumed it was a post-mc infection. I had slight bleeding on WEd/ Thurs last week ('old' blood)but no other symptoms like discharge etc. I saw my gp today and am still no clearer as to what's going on, she is going on the assumption that it's an infection (took swabs) and has arranged a scan but this won't happen for a few weeks as it's not classed as urgent. THe only other suggestion they made was the possibility of endometriosis returning after a dip in hormones (have had 2 mc recently)- endo was treated with surgery a few years ago and have had no probs since dd was born 3 years ago.
Sorry for the rambling but if anybody has any suggestions on what may or may not be going on I'd welcome them (yes, despite 3 doctors opinions I'm still not sure what's going on!). IS it really possible to develop an infection over 3 weeks post mc and for it to be related?
