Constant need to pee - not a UTI

After a bit of advice as I'm sure I'm not the first one to get this.

I'm mum to a 6 yo girl and have ever had any issues with my bladder or incontinence however I think I may have damaged myself.

Hubby and I took our daughter to a trampoline park a fortnight ago and within minutes of bouncing I felt like I needed to pee and actually leaked a bit of wee. I went to the loo twice and tried to continue as much as much as i could even though I felt the urge to go the entire time.

Since then it has felt like I need to pee pretty much constantly. About 5 minutes after I go it's there in the background again and even though I can hold it, it's a really uncomfortable feeling. It's not painful and I've not got a UTI (tested at the nurse) but WTF is going on?

Pregnant?
Due a smear?
Could be anything, but take a pregnancy test first. Then go to the doctor, not just the nurse

I had this and it was an ovarian cyst

smellybeanpole · 05/09/2017 18:46

I had this (sometimes still have it ) I was told I have urethral stricture after childbirth.

I've also had this and been on and off antibiotics. Eventually got referred and had a CT scan last week and camera investigation. Turns out I've got a couple of cysts. The feeling was like a UTI but all dip tests came clear.

Def not pregnant and not due a smear.

Would I have any other symptoms of a cyst?

Just because the nurse tested it doesn't mean you don't have a UTI. Ask to get a sample sent away to lab

Duvetdaysanddays · 05/09/2017 19:00

I had a bartholins cyst removed - they claimed it was nothing to do with my constantly needing to wee but since i had it removed my problem has disappeared completely. As have my lower back / kidney pains.

Prolapse?

hannah1992 · 05/09/2017 19:06

The nurse told me I didn't have a uti told me to drink loads of water but the dip came clear but she would send it to lab anyway as a procaution. Doctor rang me the day after and told me I did have infection and gave me antibiotics. So go back and ask for it to be sent to the lab definetly

Thanks everyone. Think I'll take a trip back to the docs to get it checked.

I throw possible prolapse in the mix as well. Was it a straightforward birth?
