I need help. It really hurts.

I have a dentist appointment booked for Wednesday. This seems forever away.

Any suggestions to help relieve this pain would be much appreciated.

Ibuprofen / paracetamol - alternated.
Salt water mouthwash every 2 - 4 hrs.
GARLIC! Omg I can't stress how good this is. Get slices of fresh garlic - rub over tooth - leave one in if you can wedge it. It stings at first but sweet relief after!
Listerine mouthwash.
Clove oil is also miraculous if you can get some. Truly miraculous!
Co-codomol if you can take them - but take instead of paracetamol as they contain it.
Oil pulling with coconut oil.
Alternating heat and cold on face.
Hope Wednesday comes soon!!

Thanks for your reply. I do actually have some clove oil in the cupboard. I will give that a try. Might do a garlic/clove combination Smile

My sympathies I had this last year and was in so much pain we had to return from a holiday early. I went to chemist who said co codomol and that was the only thing that touched it, hope you feel better soon.

I've just rubbed clove oil onto my gum. It tastes vile and it's making me dribble but oh my god the pain is so much more bearable.
