What is wrong with my knuckle (pic)?

It is swollen and really itchy. And sort of slightly yellowy. Just the one finger. I had the same thing a while ago and it went away but it's come back again on the same finger. Doesn't seem worth seeing a doctor about (and it takes weeks to get an appointment here anyway) so I thought I'd ask on here.

This looks very like Gout OP. It's caused by a build up of uric acid. It is definitely worth seeing the GP about it...what's your diet like?

Raynaud's or white finger? Do you do anything with vibrating machinery or tools?

Is gout itchy? I thought my diet was ok. I'm vegetarian and don't eat too sugary things. Have been drinking quite a bit of wine over the holidays though.

I don't use anything vibrating. It's not the hand I write with so don't use that hand much at all.
