and Im totally fed up with it ,sore, tired and really drained. Ive had this before about 5 yrs ago when I was in ajob that was really not great for me. Theres not much I can do really , I have a coil being fitted in May during a general op (fentons thingy). I know it could be due to just re adjsuting after dd2's birth 7mths ago and bf and all that , but I keep thinking could it be my diet too??? I do eat quite alot of salty things.

Did anyone watch the spa of emberresing illness about the women who constantly bled?

i had this when i came off the pill, took my body 6 months to adjust. unfortunately my doctor (who also denied that the pill could cause depression, until i took dh with me, then he listened) said i wan't feeling tired because of it! my personal experience is that it does make you knackered. don't know if the doc can give you anything, but probably worth going as there can be mdical reasons & help,eg. iron tablets, going on the pill etc

I had this when I was perimenopausal. It is due to hormone imbalance and it is really awful. I was so anaemic I felt dreadful. not to mention the embarrassment of the unexpected onset of torrential bleeding in public places. My GP gave me some progesterone tablets to stop the bleeding until I could get a mirena coil fitted. Never had a period since. I realise you are not menopausal, but the problem is similar, and If you are going to have a mirena, it will probably get you back to regular, light periods. HTH

Ive got a great trip planned at the end of the month (NO CHILDREN)and cant face it being like this then .

Do go and see your doctor. Be ready to explain exactly how many tampons / towels etc you go through, and take a diary of bleeding so you can give an accurate history.
You need to get this sorted out. How old are you?
