Bleeding after period has finished

Sorry if tmi but my period came a week early and lasted 7-8 days and now a week later I'm bleeding again. It started as pink spotting but the next day was bright red and heavy enough to need a pad but not heavy like a normal period.

I have a copper coil and I've had brown spotting before but nothing like this. It almost feels like I've got my period again as I've got light cramps, feel bloated etc.

My actual period, the one that came early, was different this month as it was a bit heavier and made me feel really ill for its duration (headaches, dizziness, tired etc) when normally I feel rough for a day or 2 before it starts and then I'm fine.

I'm booked to see gp early sept about another issue but I plan to raise this but do you think I need to see gp sooner? The bleeding isn't heavy and I'm not having bad cramp, just don't feel right kind of thing. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm only 35 so don't think it is a menopausal issue...

id go see the gp sooner if it was me. Any bleeding which isn't normal for u should be checked out.

The menopause thing is unlikely but don't rule it out- it happens at different times for different people and I think you can have symptoms like weird periods for ages before you go into actual menopause.

I've had this before with the mini pill. Every single one has made me have 2 periods a month. I'll have the first one which, I will consider to be the "real" one and then up to 4/5 days later I'll have the second one. When I come off the pill I go back to normal. I currently have the mirena and appear to have a normal (?) amount of bleeding but also experience more uncomfortable side effects
