Scarring on eyebrow piercing

Hi.
Earlier this year i got an eyebrow piercing. Cleaned and looked after it properly etc and it didnt get infected.

However in just the last few weeks two lumps have formed around each exit hole of the piercing. These are not sore or anything and from googling most resemble scar tissue/keloids.
My question is am i best off taking the jewellery out for good? If its keloids not alot i can so except monitor them to see if they are growing. But they are quite obvious to me and i dont want to get any worse.

Ok i just removed it.
And shit it looks a lot worse without! The lumps are actually very large.
I wouldn't be bothered if this was a piercing anywhere other than my face!!!
Ive had quite a few piercings and never any trouble.
If thesr are keloids they keep growing right? :o

Pic. They look a bit more red at the moment as I had to mess with the barbell for a while to unscrew it! Theyre usually not much darker than skin.
