Help needed urgently HYPERTENSION LIFE INSURANCE?

My dreadful ex (long story) is very fit, only 49, does not smoke etc, etc yet he has told my lawyer he cannot get life insurance as he has hypertension. I think this is a big fat lie..... is it? xx

Mostly anyone can get life insurance if they're willing to pay a higher premium due to medical problems.
My DP has high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes and high cholesterol. He has life insurance, just its double my premium for the same cover.

He will need to disclose this, but he should be able to get life insurance, although at a higher premium. If his hypertension is well controlled by medication, then his risks should be quite low.
