Anyone know what's generally recommended, to make a real difference to general health? I also want to tone up generally.

Was thinking of training for the Race for Life - that involves around 30 mins running three times a week - I'd also want to fit in some toning exercises - would half hr running plus half hr weights etc be sufficient to get me fit & healthy? Can't see me fitting in more than an hour 3 times a week - even that is very ambitious

Half hour of cardio plus half hour of resistance 3 times a week would certainly make a difference to your health and tone you up.
