Just a bit worried and some advice would be appreciated.
I have had itching around the anus and vagina for a while and was diagnosed with heamorroids (spel). I have treated myself for worms and thrush to rule this out.
The itching has got so bad and I'm so sore that I took a look and whole area is really red I looked inside and could see a mass. Tmi sorry.
I called and got an appoitment. The GP looked and said he could feel something and said it could be a growth or Lichen Sclerosis as there was whitening. Anyway he said he would refer me for an urgent referral with Gyn. I pressed him as to what he could see but he was vague. 
He didn't reassure me that it was probably nothing eirher tho. What can a GP actually tell from an examination?
