So I've just started taking the combined pill for the first time. I was advised to start on the first day of my period which was today, however after taking it I realised that this means my period will fall while I'm on holiday in October which obviously I don't want.
Ideally I should have taken my first pill in 2 weeks on the 03/09 so now I don't know whether I should ditch taking anymore as I've only took the one or continue to take this pack for a week, stop for a week then start a new pack on the 03/09? Any advice? Pregnancy isn't an issue, I just wont rely on this as a form of contraception until I've got it all figured out.
