Unbearable pre-menstrual bloating and PMT

My stomach is like a drum and I can't even eat it feels so uncomfortable. I can tell it's going to be a fucker of a period. The worse PMT is the heavier and more painful the period for me.

Any advice to deal with ridiculous bloating? Water? Not to eat certain foods? Tablets? TIA

Wish I knew as I get the same, awful heartburn too and actual vomiting. Only thing that helps me a bit is keeping hydrated and warm baths. There is a herb called Agnus castus which is meant to be great at relieving symptoms of pms and regularising periods which I am going to try.

Awwww I feel your pain xx
get "aqua ban" tablets from boots, start taking the day I feel bloating and continue until the bleeding stops:-/. They work as a diuretic and are specifically for period bloating , but you also have to (ironically) drink a few pints of water a day too.
The only time I actually eat whatever I want Is around my period :-) I kind of revert back to preggo mode and my DP Will go and get chocolate and prawn crackers etc immediately to avoid evils hee hee, so I'm not sure about avoiding foods sorry xX
My sister uses "magnesium OK" from amazon which she swears by for her teariness/mood swings, apparently it takes a while to get into your system but is a godsend.
Long tops, baggy pyjamas and being a diva for a few days never hurt anyone ;-). I hope you ladies feel better soon xxxxx CakeWineFlowers

Thanks for the great advice. I'll try to get the aqua ban ones and the herbal thing too.

Thanks x
