I had the very last dregs of my period two nights ago and didn't have any liners so used a tampon.
I had a shower the following morning and didn't notice it (I don't know how) and in my shower this morning I've found it.
It smelt so awful and I know TSS is really rare but I feel really hot and a little nauseous. Do I need to get checked out?

Yes.

Check your temp, if you have one, I'd go to the doc.

WhatsGoingOnEh · 18/08/2017 09:50

I had this. I went to the doctor and she said, as I didn't have a temperature, I would be fine.

If you do have a temperature, I'd def book an appointment in case there's an infection.

RainaBaina · 18/08/2017 09:53

Have you removed it?

RainaBaina · 18/08/2017 09:55

Take your own temp. If you don't have a thermometer, buy one.

I removed it, I got an emergency appointment at the GP and she has put me on a broad spectrum antibiotic as my temperature was 38.7
Thanks guys!
