Bleeding ! Graphic!!

AmyJessicax26 · 16/08/2017 01:24

Ok so I've had really bad cramping all day (closer to labour pain then period) a few days ago I started having brown blood and black which later came out in chunks and charcoal sort of texture , this evening I put a tampon in just incase and a red blob came out with lots of white tissue in it . I have been on the depo (contraceptive) injection and I missed my last period but this I wouldn't call a period atall it is extremely painful and the only other time I have had blood like this is with a previous suspected early miscarriage . Sorry for the graphic image and also it looks a little unclear as I was fiddling with it abit trying to inspect thoroughly I also dropped a fairly large quantity down the toilet and couldn't retrieve it . -- I've never had a blood clot like this or blood clots apart from after birth . All advice appreciated .

I highly recommend that you seek medical advice ASAP, especially if there was a chance that you could be or could of been pregnant. The Dr may want to carry out some tests in order to eliminate any conditions that other people have listed above.

Frazzled2207 · 17/08/2017 14:49

Hope you're ok. Do get checked out.

AmyJessicax26 · 20/08/2017 14:26

Too scared to get it checked out just been having random bleeds and clots since :/

Decidual cast. Lots of posts about them, with lots of photos! Never heard of then before MN. I'd make a GP appt.

babybubblescomingsoon · 20/08/2017 17:30

Don't be silly. Too scared to get it checked out is ridiculous. It's your health! This is coming from someone with severe health anxiety. Until recently I avoided doctors too and I had a serious health scare because of it that was almost too late. Get it checked. Always better safe than sorry Smile

AmyJessicax26 · 20/08/2017 18:23

I have a Appt for 12th September :( hopefully it's all calmed by then x

Go to A&E and get checked. I had that after I had a baby and it was the remains of the placenta. Take it with you and show them

AmyJessicax26 · 20/08/2017 23:17

I've ran out of that bit now well haven't seen any today so couldn't take it and I had a Caesarian ? Wouldn't they have got it all x

I used to get chunks like that. Hurt like buggery to pass them.

It's just womb lining and perfectly normal, but of you've had positive pg tests you should probably get checked out if it continues.

AmyJessicax26 · 25/08/2017 21:25

AmyJessicax26 · 25/08/2017 21:52

Can't go anywhere even if I wanted to nobody's around to look after my son :(

Isadora2007 · 25/08/2017 21:54

As you ignored all the previous suggestions of calling 111 or being seen by a Dr I'm not sure what you want us to say.
You've been in pain and bleeding for days now. You're in pain again. You passed tissue/clot/stuff from your vagina that isn't normal.

I'm not sure what you want to hear. It's all okay and don't ask for medical help? Or go to A and E? Or stop asking online people and ask actual medical people?

AmyJessicax26 · 25/08/2017 21:55

Been bleeding on and off and it's been brown ? Sound like a eptopic to anyone ?

OP posts:
ScarletSienna · 25/08/2017 21:57

Call 111. No one here will be able to help you as much as them Flowers

AmyJessicax26 · 25/08/2017 21:57

I'm petrified of doctors and hospitals etc so if I'm honest I'm just waiting for someone to say yeah it's completely normal :/ sound like a dick I know

OP posts:
AmyJessicax26 · 25/08/2017 21:58

Okay I will :(

Isadora2007 · 25/08/2017 22:00

Sorry. We cannot possibly tell you it's okay. We just don't know. What we do know is you're in pain and it is ongoing and ignoring it is not working.
Please call 111. If it is an infection you could become very unwell very quickly and then who would look after your child?
Flowers as this is tough but imagine your child was bleeding and in pain. Would you leave it for days? Would you take that chance? Please just call for advice even.

summertimeandtheweatherisfine · 25/08/2017 22:01

You may have to take your child with you - but yes you need medical help - please ring 111

Woofsaidtheladybird · 28/08/2017 17:03

Lukeandlorelai4Ever · 28/08/2017 17:12

I've never had children but I am sexually active. I am also on the contraceptive pill. Last month I messed up and had 2 periods in 2 weeks. This is my first period since then I'm on my 7 day break. I've had tender boobs and slightly bigger nipples but didn't think I could be pregnant. But I've had cramps this period and passed a flesh coloured lump with a blood clot attached this morning and I'm still having dull lower tummy pain. All the answers I find regarding these lumps happen to be on this website so I've joined hoping some of you wonderful women can help me out Smile

GruffaloPants · 02/04/2018 08:33

@Smh1990 probably best to start your own thread. Suggest you do a pregnancy test if you are worried about that.
