I have had a niggly tooth for a week took myself to dentist yesterday and they have diagnosed me with an gum infection. They have check all my teeth and explained that the tooth itself is fine as I am showing now pain when they push it, tap it and when I bite down. The only pain I am showing is when they place pressure on the gum.
They have given me anti biotics 3 x 500mg tablets a day for 5 days. I am now just over 24 hours in and 5 tablets down? How quickly should I expect the tablets to work?
Last night I hardly had any sleep!?
