Back/bum/hip pain postnatal

Hi,
I'm 9 weeks post c section and I'm starting to do some longer stretches of walking with baby in a carrier. Problem is that it's caused me to get some pain in my right lower back. It feels more like it's in my bum and it alternates between numbness, aching and a shooting pain, it can also feel like it's right in my pelvis.

I did suffer with some hip pain in late pregnancy but that was my left side. I find myself being nervous about putting weight on my leg.

Anyone else suffered with this, would a trip to a chiropractor help?

Yes! 2 years later I'm finally having physio therapy, they are not sure if it's sciatica or piriformis (hip form of sciatica) I used to hip my baby, still do and it's knocked my back out of balance. My calf and thigh muscles, especially my left hip, feel very tight like I've done a hard workout, heat packs work to an extent but I'd see your GP rather than chiropractor

Perfect thank you. I'll make an appointment.

I wondered if my hips were over compensating for my useless stomach muscles!
