Vaginal mesh operation complications in Eastbourne

A large number of women in Eastbourne have had vaginal mesh operations for incontinence. There has been a high number of serious long term complications such as eroding mesh, vaginal pain, unable to have intercourse, chronic infections, repeat operations to temove mesh and so on.

Many of thse women were not warned about the very common risk of serious complications.

Has anyone asked the local hospital to investiagte this major problem?

Is there a local group of affected mesh women?

The Daily Mail and Victoria Darbyshire are fighting hard to expose this scandal.

There is a huge problem in East Sussex and Eastbourne.

Many TVT/TVTO mesh procedures were done by a doctor who did not tell patients about the unpleasant complications and claimed a very high, misleading success rate. The doctor was not a trained urogynaecologist specialist.

The newer properly trained gynae urologist refuses to do foreign body mesh procedures but is an expert in removing mesh from patients suffering severe complications.
