Is this going to make her sick?

Went out for the day yesterday shopping. Bought my 7 year dd some houmous and Pittas to eat. There was another left over tub which I brought in and left out on counter so thought I would throw away. At some point dh put it away in the fridge without me knowing and has given it to her for lunch while I was talking on the phone. Came in and realised and took away but she had eaten half a portion already. Is thid going to make her ill? Probably out for 10 hours or more?

Probably will be fine. It wasn't out that long

I would be surprised if she got ill and, if she did, I wouldn't expect more than a slightly dodgy tummy (although even that seems unlikely). Very unlikely to be any serious bacteria lurking in chickpeas. Hoummous used to be a camping/ festival staple for me and friends and I have (drunkenly) eaten very 'fizzy' hoummous that hasn't been near a fridge for days and, although it can taste a bit weird once it's started to ferment a bit it's never made me ill.
