Ok I am very overweight and my tummy is also disproportionately large.
But my tummy really goes in weirdly at one side see photo. Any suggestions as to why this could be? I am sitting straight and it even does it when standing up.

You say disproportionately large - have you always carried weight there or this this relatively new?

Mmm I used to be very thin when younger. I put weight on all over and especially on my boobs (went up to JJ) so my tummy was more hidden by my boobs. Then I had a breast reduction about 6/7 years ago (my tummy has been more noticeable since). I noticed this dint/ indentation on my tummy only a few weeks ago. I have an underactive thyroid diagnosed about 14 years ago.

I would maybe pop to the GP. I remember a lovely poster on here a few months ago who had a disproportionately large tummy and couldn't shift it - it turned out she had ovarian cancer. I'm not saying that to frighten you at all as it's very very likely it's nothing like that, but I do believe in trusting your instincts and you wouldn't be posting here unless you had a feeling something wasn't right. Thanks ShoutOutToMyEx your probably right I was hoping for a simple explanation. I am unsure where your ovaries start and finish but this seems higher up than I thought. I first noticed it when I went to the Edinburgh dungeons and went on a ride with the kids. I have never shyed away from fair ground type rides and there was one at the end. I worried they may not get the bar on tight enough. Anyway when the man shoved the bar down it really hurt and seemed to be pressing on something painful at that I got out. The side it pressed down on was this side.
I will try and see my GP next week. Thanks
