Ok so I have had this wart under my foot for almost 4 years now... I would say I have tried every remedy... I used to cover it with gaffa tape 24/7 to cut out oxygen. Been to doc for freezing every two weeks for 5 mnths...I had read on net that apple cider vinegar does the trick and that wart goes black and falls out.... after around a month....I am doing this for last almost 3 mnths now and nothing.

Did anyone else have any luck with acv after a long waiting period. Or did any other remedy work for a very stubborn wart. Please help!!!

I think you have to try different things again and again until the body realizes that there is something to get rid of.
We're trying to shift DD's verrucas (15 at the last count) since 2007.
The dermatologist said they'll go eventually and no they don't treat them anymore. I've tried everything I could think of - bar toad slime at midnight - and then all the remedies recommended on MN.
Vinegar, tape, banana peel, nothing worked for us.
3 weeks ago I started to freeze 2 of them off and today one of the untreated ones was gone and the others look different.
We're cautiously hopeful.

Ds had really bad ones all over his hand. We got extra strength bazooka. I painted it on one evening, and the next evening he peeled them all off and they were gone.

Thuja works for me, Holland &Barrett and amazon stock it. And we cleared ds1's horrendous verrucas by taking immune boosting vitamins, the chewy ones that contain zinc.

Prok thats almost 9 years your dd had them... frankly I am fed up..think going to just wait for them to go by themselves... but am afraid if left untreated, they will spread.

I have them too.

Low immunity and just can't shift the little blighters despite trying every remedy available more than once.

But I actually find the treatments more painful than the verrucae, so currently not treating them at all. I'm told they'll eventually disappear. But I actually don't think they will.

Sorry OP, none of my post is what you wanted to hear. Wink
